Refresher lessons
Refresher lessons for licensed drivers
Plenty of people hold a licence and still don't feel comfortable driving. There's nothing unusual about that, and it's very fixable.
Who books a refresher
People who haven't driven in years. People who moved from a city with good public transport and now need the car. People who've had a knock in confidence after a crash or a near miss. People whose licence is fine but whose knowledge of current road rules is 15 years old. All of them are welcome, and none of them get treated like a beginner.
We start wherever you actually are
The first lesson is mostly me finding out what you're comfortable with and what you're avoiding. Some people want to start in quiet streets. Others are fine on local roads and just want to tackle roundabouts, merging, or parking. We work at your pace, and I won't push you onto a road you're not ready for to prove a point.
Road rules change, and nobody tells you
Once you hold a full licence, nothing prompts you to keep up. Every lesson comes with a written summary, so the things we cover stay with you rather than fading by the following week.
Common questions
Honestly, it depends on how long it's been and what you want to be able to do. Some people want a single session before a long drive. Others build up over several weeks. I'd rather work that out with you after the first lesson than quote you a number now that turns out to be wrong.
Ready to start your driving lessons?
Tell me your suburb and where you're at as a learner, and we'll plan your first lesson. I'll help you drive with confidence and precision, one calm lesson at a time.
